Personal Development
Many
individuals require a fresh perspective to take on the difficult
challenges of today’s environment. We live in a time of exponential
growth and change. This requires a need to develop to a higher level
and at a much quicker pace.
We believe that
tremendous gains will be achieved as people tap into their talents. We
recognize that sound judgment and integrity on our part are
prerequisites to developing a joint-venture with anyone with whom we
choose to build a relationship. Therefore, we will not mislead others
through omission or distortion of the truth as we believe it to be.
That means we are prepared to refuse to participate in a relationship
if we believe that our commitment to their success is greater than
their commitment to their own success, or if we don’t think we can
achieve their objectives, for that would be inconsistent with a Win-Win
relationship. The results are immediate and life-changing.
Our approach will:
- Help you to achieve your full potential
- Enhance self-esteem and build confidence
- Build a positive attitude
- Improve interpersonal relationships
- Reduce stress
- Reduce conflict
- Align personal and professional goals
- Develop "big picture" thinking
Consultants
have been around for a long time. Individual coaching is relatively
new. The two professions take very different paths with each having a
unique core.
- Consultants are problem solvers. The message seems to be “I know what the issue is and here is how to fix it.”
- Coaches
are people developers. They don’t tell anyone what to do. They ask
questions to develop an awareness of the issues. You’re smart. A few
simple questions will help uncover the opportunities.
- The consultant’s goal is typically profit driven
- The coach is looking to maximize potential.
Coaches also differ from trainers.
- Trainers work with groups, primarily by teaching in a classroom setting.
- Coaches work with you one on one. They focus on listening and asking questions.
- The goal of a trainer is to transfer knowledge.
- The goal of the coach is to get action.
